Designer Turn Pays Off: Decorating Draws Creative Albertan
Amanda Hamilton calls it an epiphany. One of those moments where things become crystal clear. She grew up in Edmonton and initially went to the University of Alberta for two years taking general arts. But she was not happy doing that.
“I had an epiphany one day” says Hamilton, “What do I want to do with myself. I kind of started thinking of all the strengths that I have and the weaknesses and the things that I wanted to work on and interior design just came up as something that sort of fulfilled the creative side of me which was super important.
