The design began with the client’s favourite colour, leading us down a rabbit hole of green in every conceivable shade. The result is a moody, luxurious space that wraps you in colour and texture. The open shelves of the deep evergreen wet bar are set against a captivating idyllic mural wallpaper, turning a collection of spirits into a curated display. Cocktails are poured and conversations flow, all under the warm glow of integrated lighting. The walls, trim, and even the ceiling are drenched in a dark, unifying charcoal, cementing the intimate mood. Light floors provide a necessary contrast, and curvy furniture – from an oval games table to a rounded armchair – softens the clean lines of the custom millwork. The media cabinet feels like it belongs in a gentleman’s library, its tonal finish allowing prized books and whimsical objects to pop. The vibe is luxe, comfortable, and just a little bit dramatic, with velvet, whiskey leather, and brass accents throughout. As every great lounge needs a memorable powder room, we took a hard right into a stunning shade of burgundy. The bathroom is a jewel box of texture and shine, with glossy, artisanal wall tiles that catch the light beautifully while polished brass fixtures carry a thread of warmth from the main lounge.
